This Ford Mustang was stolen during a daytime residential burglary in the 3900 block of “F” Street in Vancouver. The Mustang was taken as well as other items in the house.

When the crime was discovered it was reported to the Vancouver Police Department who verified the report and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Mustang.

Just one hour later, a Clark County Sheriff’s Department deputy equipped with a LoJack Police Tracking Computer (PTC), picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Mustang. Following directional and audible cues from the PTC, the Mustang was located in the 4100 block of NE 14th Street in Vancouver. Three suspects were arrested and booked into jail on multiple charges.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Ford Mustang GT in February 2006 at Premier Ford in Gladstone, Oregon.
