The owner of this Scion XA parked the car where he usually does every evening in the 10200 block of NE Notchlog Drive near Vancouver. The next morning it was missing.

When the crime was discovered it was reported to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office who verified the report and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Scion.

Later that evening, the Clark County SO deputies, equipped with a LoJack Police Tracking Computer (PTC), picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Scion. Following directional and audible cues from the PTC, the Scion was located in the 10900 block of Highway 99. The Scion was abandoned and did not appear to be damaged. It was released to the owner.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Scion XA in May 2007 at Gresham Toyota in Oregon.
