The owners of a 2004 Infiniti FX35 contacted the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office to report that their vehicle was stolen from their business in Marrero.

The Infiniti was found to be missing that morning from the used car lot.

The Jefferson Parish SO verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Infiniti.

A short while later officers from the New Orleans Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Infiniti with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Infiniti to a neighborhood in New Orleans and located the Infiniti parked on a city street.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Infiniti FX35 in July 2004 at Ray Brandt Infiniti in Metairie, Louisiana.
