The owners of a 2007 Toyota Corolla contacted the Fitchburg Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen after the keys were stolen while the owner was at a local gym.
The Fitchburg PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Toyota.

A short while later officers from the Fitchburg PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Toyota with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Toyota to a local residence and after a short investigation, an individual was arrested in the theft.

The LoJack ®System was installed in the Toyota Corolla in April 2007 at Norm Wagner Toyota in Lancaster, Massachusetts.
