The owners of an Audi A4 contacted the Englewood Police Department and reported that their vehicle had been stolen.

A police officer verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Audi.

A short while later officers with the Denver Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Audi with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the stolen Audi the 1800 block of Meade Street.   The Audi was recovered and will be returned to the very happy owners.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Audi A4 in Virginia eight years ago at the request of the owner at that time.
