The owner of a 2011 Nissan Murano contacted the North Las Vegas Police Department to report the vehicle was stolen. The North Las Vegas PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Nissan.

Within under an hour after the stolen vehicle entry, officers from the Las Vegas Metro Police Department, picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Nissan with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, officers tracked the Nissan locating it parked and unoccupied.

The Nissan Murano was recovered, towed from the scene and will be released back to the owner.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Nissan Murano in December 2015 at Friendly Ford in Las Vegas, Nevada.
