The owners of a 2006 Chrysler 300 contacted the Baltimore City Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen, during a carjacking, in the 1600 block Braddish Avenue in the west Baltimore area of Baltimore City, Maryland. Investigation by police on scene found that suspects used other vehicles to block in the Chrysler and force the driver from the vehicle and leave the area in the Chrysler.
The Baltimore City PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Chrysler.

A short while later officers from the Baltimore City PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Chrysler with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in their patrol vehicles and helicopters. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Chrysler to the 2500 block W. Franklin Street in the Rosemont area of Baltimore City, Maryland. At that location, officers observed the Chrysler parked and unoccupied. Officers recovered the Chrysler and had it towed for forensic processing related to the carjacking.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2006 Chrysler 300 in May 2005 at Len Stoler Lexus in Owings Mills, Maryland.
