The operator of a 2015 Bobcat T450 Track Skid Steer Loader contacted the Miami-Dade Police Department to report that their piece of construction equipment was stolen sometime during the night. The responding officer prepared a stolen vehicle report, theft affidavit and had the vehicle’s information entered into the state and federal crime information computers.

While on routine patrol a Miami-Dade Police Department officer picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen T450 on their on-board LoJack Police Tracking Computer (PTC). The officer began tracking the stolen T450 by following the directional and audible cues on the PTC screen. The officer, along with their backup, located the skid steer loader near the intersection of S.W. 234th Street and S.W. 127th Avenue. The skid steer loader was recovered, released to the owner, who responded to the scene, and removed from state and federal crime information computer systems.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2015 Bobcat T450 Track Skid Steer Loader in June 2015 at Lake City, Georgia.
