The owners of a 2009 Infiniti G-37 contacted the Baltimore City Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from the 5900 block York Road in the Govans area of Baltimore City, Maryland. Investigation conducted by police on the scene found that an extra key to the Infiniti was kept inside the vehicle console and most likely used to steal the vehicle.
The Baltimore City PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Infiniti.

A short while later detectives from the Regional Auto Theft Team picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Infiniti with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in their patrol vehicles. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the detectives tracked the Infiniti to the 900 block Beaumont Avenue in Baltimore City. At this location, detectives recovered the parked and unoccupied Infiniti.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2009 Infiniti G-37 in June 2011 at Nationwide Nissan in Lutherville, Maryland.
