The owners of a 2006 Infiniti G35 contacted the Fall River Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen.
The Fall River PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the stolen Infiniti.

The silent LoJack signal from the stolen Infiniti was picked up and tracked with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the stolen Infiniti was tracked to a rural farm area off Route 177 in nearby Westport. Detectives from the Westport Police Department were notified and they helped locate the stolen Infiniti in an area with very few roads.

In addition to recovering the stolen Infiniti, the Westport PD detectives were also able to recover two other stolen vehicles at the same location. Neither of the other vehicles were LoJack-equipped, but both were located as a result of the recovery of the stolen Infiniti. The other two vehicles were a 2011 Mercedes Benz and a 2009 Yamaha motorcycle. The Westport PD detectives are still investigating to determine who is responsible for the thefts and possession of the stolen vehicles.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Infiniti G35 in September 2006 by Herb Chambers Infiniti in Boston, Massachusetts.
