The owner of the Nissan Versa parked his car where he normally parks it. When he went out for it the next day he found it missing; this was in the Ozone Park section of Queens, confines of the 106 precinct. He immediately called the New York Police Department of the 106 precinct Queens, New York.
When the NYPD officers arrived, they took a written report for the stolen Nissan Versa. This information was then entered by the NYPD in the City, State, and Federal crime computer which automatically activated the LoJack® System in the stolen Nissan.
A short while later the silent signal was picked up on the LoJack Police Tracking Computer that the NYPD have in their vehicles. This was in the East New York section of Brooklyn, confines of the 75 Precinct. The signal was tracked to a residential section of East New York. The Nissan was located parked on a residential street. The officers decided to stake it out. After a short while when no one came for the Nissan the officers took it into custody. The Nissan was recovered in good condition with minor entry damage.

The owner was contacted and he was elated that his Nissan was recovered so quickly, especially in good condition, with the minor damage. He further stated that he was happy that when he purchased the Nissan, he purchased the LoJack® System, saying he was extremely grateful for that, saying that if it wasn’t for the LoJack the Nissan may never would have been recovered.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2011 Nissan Versa in August 2011 at Hillside Honda of Queens in New York.
