This Subaru Impreza was taken during the late night to early morning hours from the owners’ residence located in the 100 block of NE 112th Street in Seattle.

When the theft was discovered, it was reported to the Seattle Police Department who verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Subaru.

Just five minutes later, the Washington State Patrol troopers picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Subaru on the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following directional and audible cues from the PTC, the Subaru was located at South 140th Street and 55th Avenue South in Tukwila.

The Subaru was abandoned and did not appear to be damaged.
The LoJack® System was installed in the Subaru Impreza in June 2009 via Washington Direct Sales.
