The owner of the Lexus LS460 parked his car while he was visiting a friend. When he went out for it later on he found the Lexus missing. This was in the East New York section of Brooklyn, confines of the 75 precinct. He immediately called the police of the 75 precinct Brooklyn, New York.
When the NYPD officers arrived, they took a written report for the stolen Lexus LS460. This information was then entered by the NYPD in the City, State, and Federal crime computer which automatically activated the LoJack® System in the stolen Lexus.

A short while later the silent signal was picked up on the LoJack Police Tracking Computer that the Police have in their vehicles. This was in the East Flatbush section of Brooklyn, confines of the 73 Precinct. The signal was tracked to a residential section of East Flatbush. The Lexus was located in a public parking lot on the second floor. The officers decided to stake it out; due to the fact the parking lot had surveillance cameras on the entrance and exits. The stakeout continued for a period of time, however no one ever returned for the Lexus and the NYPD recovered it. The investigation is continuing at this time. The Lexus was recovered in excellent condition, other than a broken window, apparently their means of entry.

The owner was contacted and he was elated that his Lexus was recovered so quickly, especially in good condition, with minor damage. He further stated that he was happy that when he purchased the Lexus it was equipped with the LoJack® System, saying he was extremely grateful for that, saying that if it wasn’t for the LoJack the Lexus may never would have been recovered.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2008 Lexus LS460 in June 2008 at Prestige Lexus of Ramsey, New Jersey.
