The owners of a 2004 Infiniti G35 contacted the California Highway Patrol Auburn Area to report that their vehicle was stolen after they received a LoJack Early Warning notification from their LoJack Stolen Vehicle Recovery System.
The CHP verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Infiniti.

Less than an hour later officers from the Sacramento PD and the Sacramento Sheriff’s Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Infiniti with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Infiniti to the area of Pine Nut and North Hill Streets in Sacramento. The officers observed the Infiniti parked and abandoned on the residential street.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Infiniti G35 in March 2004 at Volvo of Fairfield in California.
