The owners of a 2006 Honda Accord contacted the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department to report that he was awaken when he heard someone start his vehicle that was parked in the driveway. When he went to check the Honda had been stolen.
The Montgomery County SD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda Accord.

Just minutes later deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Honda with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the deputies tracked the Honda to a large apartment complex where the vehicle was parked and abandoned. After the Honda was processed for prints, it was released to the owner.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Honda Accord in September 2005 at Goodson Honda North UAG in Houston, Texas.
