The owners of a 2004 Jeep Cherokee contacted the Baltimore City Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from their home in the 3600 block Raymonn Avenue in the Hamilton area of Baltimore City, Maryland.
The Baltimore City PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Jeep Cherokee.

A short while later officers from the Baltimore City PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Jeep Cherokee with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in their patrol vehicles and helicopters. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Jeep to the 100 block N. Denison Street in the Patterson Park area of Baltimore City, Maryland. At that location, officers observed the Jeep parked and unoccupied. Officers recovered the Jeep and notified the owner.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2004 Jeep Cherokee in November 2005 at Heritage Belair Auto Park in Maryland.
