A person known to the owner of this Infiniti G35 took the car without permission sometime during a thirteen hour period. This occurred while the owner was away from his residence located in the 400 block of NE 44th Street in Seattle.

The theft was reported to the Seattle Police Department who verified the report and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Infiniti.

Later that evening, a Seattle PD officer equipped with a LoJack Police Tracking Computer (PTC) picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Infiniti. Following directional and audible cues from the PTC, the Infiniti was located in 1100 block of North 79th Street. It was abandoned and did not appear to be damaged.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Infiniti G35 in January 2005 at Sewell Infiniti in Dallas, Texas.
