This Toyota RAV4 was stolen during the night from the owners residence located in the 7600 block of NE 202nd Place in Kenmore.

When the theft was discovered the following morning it was reported to the King County Sheriff’s Office who verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Toyota.

A King County SO deputy picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Toyota on the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following directional and audible cues from the PTC, the Toyota was located at 243rd Place SW & Carter Road near Bothell in Snohomish County. It was abandoned and undamaged. The Snohomish County SO responded to handle the recovery.

The owner was called to the scene to take possession of the Toyota.
The LoJack® System was installed in the Toyota RAV4 in October 2010 at Lake City Toyota in Seattle, Washington.
