This Ford F350 pickup was stolen for the third time in less than three years.  This theft occurred sometime during a twelve hour period.  It was taken from the 1700 block of East Valley Highway in Renton.

The theft was reported to the Renton Police Department who verified the report and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Ford.
Just ten minutes later, a Kent Police Department officer and a Washington State trooper, equipped with a LoJack Police Tracking Computer (PTC), picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Ford truck.   Following directional and audible cues from the PTC, the truck was located at 208th Avenue SE & SE 84th Street.  It was abandoned.  The special addition seats had been removed from the truck but it was otherwise undamaged.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Ford F350 in July 2011 at Brotherton Cadillac in Renton, Washington.
