The owners of a 2014 Land Rover Range Rover SUV contacted the Houston Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from their apartment complex parking lot during the previous night.
The Houston PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the State and Federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Land Rover.

Minutes later the Houston PD officers picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Land Rover with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Land Rover to a large apartment parking lot. Officers called the tact squad and surveillance was established. After a period of time when no activity occurred officers processed the Land Rover and released it to the owner.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Land Rover in June 2015 at Sonic Momentum Jaguar Porsche Volvo in Houston, Texas.
