This Infiniti G35 was stolen twice from the owner’s residence in the 900 block of Jericho Place NE in Renton. The first theft occurred during the early morning hours. The second theft was during the evening.

Both thefts were reported to the Renton Police Department who verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Infiniti.

A Washington State Trooper picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Infiniti on the LoJack Police Tracking Computer (PTC) that is installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following directional and audible cues from the PTC, the Infiniti was located the first time in the 4400 block of NE 12th Street in Renton. It was abandoned and had some minor body damage.

The same trooper tracked and located the Infiniti the second time at NE 52nd Street & 107th Avenue NE in Kirkland. Again it was abandoned and no further damage was noted.

The owner was called to the scene to take possession of the Infiniti in both cases.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Infiniti G35 in April 2006 at Bowen Scarff Ford in Covington, Washington.
