The owners of an Audi A4 contacted the Roosevelt Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen overnight from their residence.

The Roosevelt PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Audi.

A short while later deputies from the Kent County Sheriff’s Office picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Audi with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the deputies tracked the Audi to a commercial area.  Because of the quick recovery there was no damage to the stolen Audi.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Audi A4 in October 2006 by Luxury Motors in Chicago, Illinois.
