The owners of a 2003 Infiniti G35 contacted the Phoenix Police Department to report that their vehicle had been stolen. The owners parked the Infiniti on the street in the neighborhood near 16th Avenue and Wilshire Drive and when they returned a couple hours later the vehicle was missing.
The Phoenix PD officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Infiniti.

Forty minutes later, officers from the Phoenix PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Infiniti with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Infiniti to a neighborhood near 19th Avenue and Encanto Boulevard.
The Infiniti was found unoccupied and parked on a side street in the 1600 block of west Lewis Avenue. The Infiniti was recovered in good condition and returned to the owners.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Infiniti G35 in October 2003 at J.B.A. Infiniti Suzuki in Ellicott City, Maryland.
