The owners of a 2000 Magt Utility Trailer with a 1996 Wacker Light Tower contacted the Palmer Police Department to report that their vehicle was missing after they did a complete inventory of all their equipment.
The Palmer PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the utility trailer.

The silent LoJack signal from the stolen utility trailer was picked up with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the trailer was tracked to a construction yard in Monson, Massachusetts.

The Monson Police Department was able to recover the trailer and light tower and have both pieces of equipment returned to the rightful owner.

The LoJack® System was installed in the utility trailer on September 2003 via commercial sales in Palmer, Massachusetts.
