The owner of a 2015 Toyota Scion contacted the Manchester Police Department, New Hampshire, after her boyfriend committed a felony domestic assault against her and then fled in her vehicle.
The Manchester PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Toyota Scion.

Twenty-one (21) minutes later officers from the Lawrence Police Department, Massachusetts, picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Toyota with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Toyota to Greenfield Street in Lawrence.

The boyfriend was arrested by the Lawrence PD on unrelated charges in Massachusetts and will also be facing the criminal charges associated with the felony assault and theft in New Hampshire as well as a deportation hearing which will be scheduled after the criminal charges.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Toyota Scion in May 2015 at Ira Toyota in Danvers, Massachusetts.
