The owners of a 2015 Nissan Sentra contacted the Springfield Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen after they received a LoJack® Early Warning notification from their LoJack® Stolen Vehicle Recovery System.
The Springfield PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Nissan.

Officers from the Holyoke Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Nissan with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Nissan to the downtown area of Holyoke.

The Nissan was stopped and four occupants in the stolen Nissan were placed under arrest.
The LoJack® System was installed in the Nissan Sentra in June 2015 by Curry Nissan in Chicopee, Massachusetts.
