The owners of a 2007 Honda Accord contacted the Framingham Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen.
The Framingham PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda.

A short while later officers from the Boston Police Department as well as troopers from the Massachusetts State Police picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Honda with the LoJack® Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers and troopers tracked the Honda to the Downtown section of Boston where the vehicle was recovered.

This was the second time that this Honda had been stolen. Previously, the Honda was reported stolen and recovered after being tracked.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Honda Accord in May of 2007 by Herb Chambers Boston Honda in Massachusetts.
