The owner of a 2015 Honda Odyssey contacted the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department to report the vehicle was stolen with the keys possibly inside of the vehicle. The LVMPD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda.

A short time after the activation, officers from the LVMPD and Nevada Highway Patrol picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Honda with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Honda and determined it was mobile. The Honda was ultimately recovered unoccupied, towed from the recovery scene for safekeeping and will be released back to the owner.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Honda Odyssey in August 2015 by Desert Honda in Las Vegas, Nevada.
