The owner of a 2013 Chrysler 300 4-door sedan contacted the West Palm Beach Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen sometime while they were in their office working. The police verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Chrysler.

The next morning, a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office auto theft detective picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Chrysler on their on-board LoJack Police Tracking Computer (PTC). The auto theft detective began tracking the stolen Chrysler by following the directional and audible cues on their PTC screen. The auto theft detective, along with their backup, located the Chrysler in the 6000 block of Sherwood Glen Way. The auto theft investigator from West Palm Beach PD responded, processed the Chrysler and will continue the investigation. The Chrysler was recovered, released to the owner, who responded to the scene, and removed from state and federal crime information computer systems.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2013 Chrysler 300 in October 2012 by Dadeland Dodge in Miami, Florida.
