The owner of a 2011 Ford F150 Harley Davidson edition contacted the North Las Vegas Police Department to report the vehicle was stolen. The North LVPD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Ford.

Within sixteen minutes of the activation, officers from several agencies and the VIPER team picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Ford with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Ford to a parking lot. The VIPER team set up surveillance on the stolen Ford. The VIPER team recovered the Ford and it will be released to the owner at a later time.
