The owner of a 2011 Ford F450 Construction Truck contacted the Hamilton Police Department to report their vehicle had been stolen from a construction site in the Township of Hamilton.

The Hamilton PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Ford.

A short while later, officers from the Trenton Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal coming from the stolen Ford with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Ford to Dayton Street in the City of Trenton. The Ford was found parked and undamaged with all of the tools still on the vehicle.
