The owners of a 2007 Saturn Aura contacted the Phoenix Police Department to report that their vehicle had been stolen from the parking lot of an apartment complex.
The Phoenix PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Saturn.

Seventeen minutes later, officers from the Phoenix PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Saturn with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Saturn to the area of 7th Street and Thomas Road in Phoenix.
The Saturn was occupied and a high risk felony stop was conducted on the stolen Saturn. The suspect complied and was taken into custody without incident. The Saturn was recovered and returned to the owners in good condition. The suspect was booked on felony charges for the theft of the Saturn.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Saturn Aura in May 2008 by Enterprise Car Sales in Tempe, Arizona.
