The owner of a 2005 Kawasaki KAF400B Mule called the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department to report the vehicle was stolen.  The owner stated the offender cut a hole in the fence and took the Mule without permission.  The LVMPD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Mule.

Within ninety minutes of the activation, Officers with the LVMPD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Mule with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the Officers tracked the Mule and located it unoccupied.  The Mule was released to the owner at the recovery scene.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Kawasaki Mule in May 2008 via Commercial Sales in Las Vegas, Nevada.
