The owner of a 2007 Suzuki GSX1300 motorcycle contacted the Lancaster Police Department to report that his motorcycle was stolen. The owner had parked his motorcycle in his apartment parking lot and when he returned to it, found it missing.

The Lancaster PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Suzuki motorcycle.

Later, officers from the Desoto Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Suzuki motorcycle with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the stolen Suzuki motorcycle to a storage facility.  With the help of the LoJack handheld tracker, officers were able to determine the exact storage room the stolen motorcycle was inside.  A search warrant was executed and the motorcycle was recovered. The owner of the storage facility was able to give officers the name of the person who rented the storage room.  An arrest warrant is pending.  This motorcycle was recovered in good condition.
