The owners of a 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck contacted the Lakewood Police Department to report that their vehicle had been stolen from their apartment house parking lot.

The report was taken by the police department and the ownership information verified.  The vehicle information was entered into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Dodge.

Later officers with the Denver Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Dodge with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.

Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Dodge to the 16100 block of East Green Valley Ranch Blvd. and recovered the truck.  It was impounded for safe return to the owners.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Dodge Ram in August 2013 by Mac Haik Chevrolet in Houston, Texas at the request of the current owner.
