The owners of a 2010 Jeep Wrangler contacted the Pueblo Police Department to report that their vehicle had been stolen from the parking lot of a store while they were inside shopping.

An officer verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Jeep.

Just minutes later officers with the Pueblo PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Wrangler with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Jeep to the area of 18th and Elizabeth where the Jeep had been abandoned by the thieves.

The Jeep was recovered undamaged and returned to the very happy owners.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Jeep Wrangler in October 2014 by Dale Spradley Motors in Pueblo, Colorado.
