This Audi was stolen from the 11400 block of Evergreen Way in Everett.  The theft occurred in the afternoon hours.

When the theft was discovered it was reported to the Everett Police Department who verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Audi.
Less than two hours after activating the LoJack, the Everett PD officers picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Audi on the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following directional and audible cues from the PTC, the Audi was located in the 8700 block of 5th Avenue West in Everett.  The driver ran from the Audi and tried to escape on a small kids bicycle.  He was quickly apprehended and booked into jail.

The Audi did not appear to be damaged.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Audi A4 in January 2003 by Auburn Toyota in Massachusetts.
