The owners of a Mazda Tribute contacted the Pueblo Police Department to report that their vehicle had been stolen.

The police verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Mazda.

A short while later officers with the Pueblo PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Mazda with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Mazda to the rear of a business in the 1400 block of East Orman and recovered the car.  It was later returned to the very happy owners.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Mazda Tribute in June 2008 by Spradley Ford Lincoln in Pueblo, Colorado.
