The owner of this Ford F250 parked his truck in a large retail outlet parking lot in Auburn and went inside to shop. While there he received an Early Warning Alert from LoJack. Early Warning is a LoJack feature that notifies the owner when a vehicle moves without the presence of the LoJack Key Pass.

The owner returned to the parking lot and discovered his Ford was gone. The theft was reported to the Auburn Police Department who verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the F250.
Just seven minutes later, a Tukwila Police Department officer picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Ford on the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following directional and audible cues from the PTC, the Ford was located on 152nd Avenue in Tukwila. It was abandoned and appeared undamaged.

The owner was called to the scene to take possession of the Ford.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Ford F250 in September 2005 by Bowen Scarff Ford in Kent, Washington.
