The owner of a 2012 Infiniti G37 4-door sedan parked their vehicle in the driveway of their home when she arrived home at night and in the morning it was gone, almost as if the car was towed away. The owner contacted the Miami-Dade Police Department to report that their Infiniti was stolen.

Immediately upon activation, an off-duty officer outside of his jurisdiction picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen G37 on their on-board LoJack Police Tracking Computer (PTC).  The officer began tracking the stolen G37 by following the directional and audible cues on their PTC screen. The officer, along with their backup from the Hollywood Police Department located the G37 backed into a parking space in the parking lot of a Townhouse complex near North 34th Avenue and Atlanta Street. The G37 was recovered by the Hollywood PD with no apparent theft damage, towed to the police impound yard for safekeeping and removed from state and federal crime information computer systems.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2012 Infiniti G37 in March 2012 by South Motors Infiniti in Miami, Florida.
