The owner of this Honda Accord is a long-haul truck driver who parked his vehicle for one week while he was on a trip.  Sometime during that period the car was stolen from the 3800 block of “B” Street NW in Auburn.

When he returned and discovered the theft it was reported to the Auburn Police Department who verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda.
A Washington State Trooper picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Honda on the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following directional and audible cues from the PTC, the Honda was located at 30th Street and “B” Street NW, a few blocks from the theft location.  The only damage was to the ignition and steering lock; it was drivable.

The owner was called to the scene to take possession of the Honda.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Honda Accord in May of 2005 by Hinshaw’s Honda in Auburn, Washington.
