The owner of a 2006 Infiniti M35 contacted the Las Vegas Metro Police Department to report the vehicle as stolen.

The Las Vegas Metro PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Infiniti.

Within 10 minutes of the stolen vehicle entry, officers from the Las Vegas Metro Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Infiniti with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Infiniti to the 2800 block of Webb Avenue in North Las Vegas.  The Las Vegas Metro VIPER Detectives arrived on scene and took over the investigation.  A search warrant was obtained and the SWAT team executed the warrant.  The stolen Infiniti was recovered along with stolen vehicle parts from a Kia and various narcotics.

The Infiniti was recovered and will be returned to the owner.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Infiniti M35 in March 2005 by JBA Infiniti in Ellicott, Maryland.
