The owners of a 2015 Toyota RAV-4 contacted the Baltimore City Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from their home in the 100 block Albermarle Street in Baltimore City, Maryland.

The Baltimore City PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Toyota.

A short while later officers from the Baltimore City PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Toyota with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in their patrol vehicles and helicopters.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Toyota to the 800 block N. Curley Street in Baltimore City. At that location, officers observed the Toyota parked and unoccupied. The undamaged Toyota was recovered by the police and the owner notified.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2015 Toyota RAV-4 during November 2014 by DARCARS Toyota in Baltimore, Maryland.
