The owner of a 2006 Toyota Rav4 contacted the Moore, Oklahoma Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from a residence in the 1400 block of NE 4th in Moore.

The Moore PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers, which automatically activates the LoJack® System concealed in the Toyota.

A short while later officers with the Norman Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Toyota with the LoJack Tracking Computer (PTC) installed in patrol cars and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the LoJack computer the officers were able to quickly track the signal to a residence in the 100 block of E. Hayes.  In the process of recovering the stolen Toyota additional criminal activity was discovered leading to the arrest of several individuals.  When recovered the Toyota was in good condition and undamaged and will be returned to the owner.

The LoJack® System was installed in this Toyota Rav4 in February 2006 at Westbury Toyota in New York.
