This Honda Pilot SUV was stolen during the night from the 18600 block of SE Yamhill Circle in Gresham.  When the theft was discovered it was reported to the Gresham Police Department.  They verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers, which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda.

Approximately one hour after activating the LoJack, the Portland Police Department officers and a Gresham PD officer picked up the silent LoJack signal transmitting from the Honda with the LoJack Police Tracking Computer (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.

Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Honda to the 19100 block of E. Burnside Street where it was found abandoned and undamaged. It was returned to the owner.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Honda in March of 2007 at Autoland Inc. in Portland, Oregon.
