The owners of a 2006 Ford F-150 contacted the Tulsa Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from their residence in the 4100 block of W. 8th in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The Tulsa PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Ford F-150 pickup.

A short while later officers from the Tulsa PD Riverside Division picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Ford with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.

Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Ford to the 3200 block of E. 17th where the stolen Ford was observed traveling on W. 17th occupied by three individuals. Upon conducting a felony stop of the stolen Ford, three subjects were taken into custody. The two passengers in the pickup had outstanding warrants and were arrested.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Ford F-150 in December 2008 at Lone Star Ford in Houston, Texas.
