The managers of an automobile dealership contacted the Pueblo Police Department to report that a 2015 Chevrolet Camaro had been stolen from the dealership.  An officer verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Chevrolet.

In less than an hour officers with the Pueblo PD were picking up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Camaro with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Camaro to a residential neighborhood where it was found parked and unoccupied.

Follow up investigation by officers disclosed the identity of the suspect.  A detective has applied for an arrest warrant for the individual.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Chevrolet Camaro in March 2015.
