The owner of a Chevy Cavalier contacted the Oklahoma City Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from a residence in Oklahoma City.

The Oklahoma City PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers, which automatically activates the LoJack® System concealed in the Chevrolet.

A short while later an officer with the Oklahoma City PD Spring Lake Division picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Chevy with the LoJack Tracking Computer (PTC) installed in patrol cars and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the LoJack PTC the officer successfully tracked and located the stolen Chevy parked on East Madison Ave. in Oklahoma City. When recovered the Chevy was in good condition and undamaged. The recovered Chevy was secured until the owner could be notified and the vehicle returned.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Chevrolet Cavalier in March 2004 at Friendly Chevrolet in Dallas, Texas.
