This Lexus RX350 was stolen from the owner’s residence in the 300 block of NE Thornton Place in Seattle.  The theft occurred sometime during a two day period while the owner was away.

When the theft was discovered it was reported to the Seattle Police Department who verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Lexus.  The owner also reported a keyless entry/start fob was lost sometime prior to the theft.

Less than one hour after activating the LoJack, a Seattle PD officer picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Lexus on the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the Lexus was located at a Park & Ride lot abandoned and undamaged.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Lexus in February of 2012 at Lexus of Bellevue, Washington.
