This Chevrolet Malibu was stolen from the owner’s residence in the 9600 block of NE 30th Court near Vancouver.  It was taken during the late evening or early morning hours.

The theft was reported to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office who verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Chevrolet.

Later that afternoon after activating the LoJack, several agencies picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Malibu on the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following directional and audible cues from the PTC, the Malibu was located by a Clark County SO deputy and a Vancouver Police Department unit at a large grocery store parking lot on NE 11th Street.

The Malibu did not appear to be damaged.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Chevrolet Malibu in January of 2012 at Enterprise Car Sales in Milwaukie, Oregon.
